We raise Rex rabbits for show and meat. They have incredibly soft plush fur and a commercial body type. The Rex breed should exhibit exemplary meat producing qualities. The topline should rise in a gradual curve from the base pf the ears to the center of the hip then fall in a smooth curve downward to the base of the tail. Fur is to be extremally thick with length not less the half an inch and no more the seven eighths of an inch. Guard hairs are to be plentiful and evenly distributed without noticeably protruding from the fur.
